    2016 Student Feedback

"This is honestly the best online course that I have taken throughout my four years at Ball State. It is easy to submit assignments, and I also feel that the content is thoroughly covered every week.”

"I was always learning new things and getting good grades on the assignments really boosted my confidence and honestly made me work even harder in this class. The material is presented in a clear and accessible way, and I thoroughly enjoyed the reading we were assigned."

"I really really enjoyed this one. I did not feel that the grading was unreasonable at all. I think this is because the instructions were very clear and if I had a question, you responded. I have had online classes where the course work was rather difficult and there weren't great instructions which can be very challenging with an online course. Also, you seemed to have a very good understanding of how blackboard worked."

"This was definitely one of my most user friendly classes so far, if not the most user friendly. I loved the schedule and how much flexibility I had."

  • About: Travel

    My Top 10 Travel Experiences

    Bodhi Khaya/South Africa

A silent meditation retreat in the mountains, with a few wild friends.

    Hawaiian Islands

    2014, 2015, and 2016

My first solo travel destination in 2014 became my favorite, must-return place. Hawaii is where I feel most at home, with incredible hikes, snorkel adventures with turtles, and meditation retreats in the rainforest.

    Ecuador/South America

Just hanging around! From zip lining in the cloud forest to hiking volcanoes, I loved every minute in Ecuador.

    Bangladesh/South Asia

Oh the places you'll go...on a pink bus in Bangladesh!

    A Summer in Alaska

Exploring The Land of the Midnight Sun by train, tram, cruise, bike, and hike.

    Afghanistan/South Asia

2016 (Pictured: Working on a road trip in Ohio)

I didn't take a single photo in/of Kabul, but Afghanistan was by far my most unique travel/work assignment.

Though strange to list Auschwitz-Birkenau as a 'favorite' or 'must-see,' the concentration camps will forever stay in my memory.

    Camino de Santiago/Spain

An unforgettable journey. I began solo and finished with kindred friends.

A solo wandering through midnight streets. Unparalleled art museums. Postcard views. Wine and Nutella.

    Golden Circle Tour, Iceland

Abandoned geothermal pools, farmhouse stays, glaceries and erupting geysers!

    American Southwest Road Trip

    2014, 2015, and 2016

Sedona, Grand Canyon & Albuquerque: the desert steals my heart year after year.
